Hello Wickman Families,

The Great American ShakeOut: Are You Prepared?
On October 15, 2026 Wickman Wildcats will be participating in The Great American ShakeOut, an earthquake preparedness drill designed to help students and staff practice what to do in the event of an earthquake. Practicing these procedures helps us feel more confident and prepared should an emergency occur.
While we regularly practice safety procedures at school, we encourage all families  to develop or review your family emergency plan. Talk with your children about who is authorized to pick them up if an emergency occurs during the school day and make sure your emergency contact list in parent portal is up-to-date.
Please know that Wickman is equipped with essential emergency supplies, including food, water, and first-aid materials, should students need to remain on campus for an extended period of time and we are prepared for a variety of emergency situations.

Get Ready for the District Science Fair!
The District Science Fair is just around the corner, and we are excited to encourage our Wildcats to explore their curiosity, ask questions, and discover the world around them through science!
To help families prepare, we have three informational meetings scheduled specifically for parents and students who would like to learn more about the Science Fair process. These meetings will focus on explaining the scientific process, helping students understand how to develop and carry out a science project, and providing time for families to ask questions.
Whether your child is participating in the Science Fair for the first time or has previous experience, these meetings are a great opportunity to learn more and feel prepared for the journey ahead.
We encourage interested families to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn, ask questions, and get ready for a fun and rewarding scientific adventure!

🚗 Thank You for Helping Keep Our Morning Drop-Off Safe!
A big THANK YOU to the wonderful volunteers who  help with our morning drop-off! Your willingness to lend a hand makes a difference and helps our mornings run more smoothly. We truly appreciate your support!
We also want to remind everyone that our parking lot operates most efficiently when we all work together and follow traffic laws and school drop-off procedures. Please be patient, follow the designated traffic flow, and remain attentive to students and pedestrians. A few extra moments of patience can make a big difference in keeping everyone safe.
Remember, our goal is to ensure that every Wildcat arrives at school safely and ready for a great day of learning. Thank you for doing your part!
