Wickman Newsletter 8/15/26

Every Thursday is a minimum day at Wickman. All students 1st - 6th attend school from 7:50a.m. -11:20a.m. All Kindergarten students, from both AM and PM classes attend from 7:50 a.m.-11:10a.m.

In addition to Thursdays, we also have these additional minimum days:

Keeping our students safe is a shared responsibility. Our arrival and dismissal procedures are designed to keep students, families, and staff moving safely and efficiently. When everyone follows the procedures, our drop-off and pick-up times run much more smoothly.

We are seeing some unsafe situations and particularly during the final few minutes before the gates close. We understand that mornings and afternoons can be hectic, but those final minutes are when it is especially important to slow down and follow the established procedures.

Please keep these important reminders in mind:

We know these procedures can sometimes take an extra minute or two, but those extra minutes are worth it when it comes to keeping our Wildcats safe. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and commitment to making arrival and dismissal safe for everyone.
