Opened in 2003 with more than 1,100 students, Michael G. Wickman Elementary School remains the largest elementary school in the Chino Valley Unified School District. Nestled between the rolling green Chino Hills State Park and the lovely Los Serranos Golf and Country Club, the school site is often host to local wildlife including hawks and rabbits (after school hours, of course.) Wickman is the proud home of Winner the Wildcat, a championship track team, internationally recognized Kiva Kids, a full theater troupe, and a diversified collection of eager learners, parents, and staff. In May of 2008, and again in 2012, Michael G. Wickman Elementary School was honored with a California Distinguished School Award. The CDSA flag flies high above the campus every day.♥

ATTENTION WICKMAN PARENTS!!!
2014-2015 PTO BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED!
We have several positions open for the PTO BOARD FOR THE 2014-2015 YEAR . Wickman PTO’s primary goal is to support our school by fundraising and organizing school events. The MONEY the PTO raises goes directly to funding our school needs. Examples of these are classroom supplies, technology, art programs, field trips (among many other things). We will not have ANY of these programs without a school PTO. Please consider being on the PTO Board. If you are interested and able to commit to a year’s term, please contact Cheryl Cox at email@example.com. Board Members will be announced at Academic Night!

I am a Wickman Wildcat.
I pledge to praise people,
To give up put-downs,
To seek wise people,
To notice and speak up about hurts I have caused,
To right wrongs,
To help people,
And to always do my best.
I know that to receive respect means I must give respect.
I promise to build peace at school, at home, and in my community every day.
